COVID-19 Update

To our valued guests

Firstly we wish to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the health professionals and those working feverishly to keep everyone safe in this period of uncertainty.  Our health system is second to none, and we are fortunate to have such dedicated men and women on the front line day in day out and putting their own lives at risk to save others.

As we face new and unprecedented challenges it’s understandable that now more than ever you need reassurance and surety of the provisions in place to protect you and your family.  After all, we’re all in this together so it goes without saying that your health and safety is of paramount importance to us at Lanai Riverside Apartments.

Secondly, we want you to know that we are very much open for business, however at this point it is only for guests travelling for essential reasons as per the Australian and Queensland Government policy guidelines.  While we would love to welcome you back for a well-deserved break, we are obviously guided by the officials who are monitoring the situation very closely, so for now it is important to stay safe and heed the advice.

As we take the COVID-19 threat seriously, we have implemented a range of best practice measures to ensure we are observing the highest standards of cleaning and general hygiene for the health and safety of all guests, building occupants, staff and contractors alike. 

We have always taken great pride in maintaining an extremely high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. We wanted to reassure you that in addition to this already high standard, we have also implemented a number of additional cleaning measures in our public areas and guest apartments. These measures include, but are not limited to, increased frequency to the cleaning of our public areas such as our reception, swimming pool, BBQ facilities and lifts. Additional apartment cleaning measures have been implemented including additional disinfecting of high-touch areas.

Not only will this continue well into the foreseeable future, but in the meantime we will continue to monitor and review the latest information released by the World Health Organisation and the Department of Health, and stay abreast of any changes that may be necessary to our Cleaning and Sanitisation Schedules and Safety Plan in place.

Currently our swimming pool and BBQ facilities are available to use, however we ask that you comply with the directions of usage, and maintain social distancing at all times.  We do hope to re-open our gym and sauna as soon as it is safe to do so, and look forward to welcoming new and familiar faces around our complex.

Above all, we are here to help, and our hallmark standards in service and hospitality are something you can rely upon, as it is just as important as ever!
